Situated 72 km off the Bandar-e Lengeh and 50 km west of Abu Musa island, Sirri island is almost 5.6 kilometers long with a width of about 3 kilometers. In 1976 the first oil well was drilled in the island. The island is an exemplary destination for photographers for its picturesque locations.
