TAPPICO Plans Doubling Capital

TEHRAN Sept 15 (Shana)--Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Co, TAPPICO, has announced that it needs new financial resources in order to operate new projects.

TAPPICO’s financial manager Vahid Bagheri said the company should double its capital if it plans to invest in projects including a gas condensate refinery at Siraf, Persian Gulf Star refinery, Phanavaran-2 and Iranoil projects.
Bagheri said the company requires to double its capital in order to take part in the aforementioned projects.
The Security and Exchange Organization (SEO) has announced the some subsidiaries of TAPPICO have already started initiatives in the market to raise capital.
SEO reported that TPPICO’s current capital stands at 29 trillion rials.
