AIPMA Chief Praises Iran Plast Exhibition

TEHRAN Sept 30 (Shana)--Lifting sanctions will help Iran to expand its petrochemical sector increasingly and will prepare the ground for implementation of more projects in the sector, the chairman of The All India Plastics Manufactures’ Association (AIPMA), Manish Dedhia said.

Dedhia told Shana that AIPMA is active in organizing plastic industry exhibition in India as well as holding related seminars and meetings.
He noted the 9th International Exhibition of Plastic, Rubber, Equipment and Machinery, held in Tehran from 24 to 29 September, was beyond his imagination, adding “even though the area allocated to our booth in the exhibition this year was smaller in comparison with last year’s space”.
The great efforts had been made by Iranians to hold the exhibition impressed me, Manish Dedhia said.
He continued: "Despite the problems sanctions have created for Iran’s petrochemical industry I think Iran enjoys a dynamic and growing petrochemical sector.
“I know around 20 Indian companies that are involved in trade and imports of petrochemical products and its primary materials from Iran”, he concluded.
