IGAT-11 Designing Complete

TEHRAN Oct 19 (Shana)--Designing of IGAT-11 is now complete and the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company (GEDC) will start construction of the pipeline under its priorities, GEDC’s managing director Alireza Gharibi said.

He added the company started talks with one of the top suppliers of steel sheets in the world  to provide the material, without specifying the name of the country.  
Immediately after setting priorities for GEDC, the company will start construction of the pipeline.
He said: "IGAT-11 with 1200 kilometers length and 7 gas pressure stations will be capable of transferring 110 mcm/d of gas."
With 56- inches in diameter the pipeline will start from Assalyueh, onshore installations of South Pars gas field, and after crossing Bushehr, Fars, Yazd, Esfahan and Semnan provinces will be connected to Tehran-Mashhad 48- inch pipeline.
