Bandar Imam Condensate Exports at $270m

TEHRAN Nov 22 (Shana)--Bandar Imam Petrochemical Plant has earned $270 million from exporting gas condensates during the first half of the current calendar year which started in March, the plant’s commercial director said.

Mohsen Maleki said the revenues have been gained despite shortage of feedstock. He added that an NGL plant would supply some 70,000 barrels of feedstock to this plant.

He said the plant’s petrochemical production depends on crude oil, adding that the NGL plant would increase feedstock supply to the petrochemical plant by more than 10 million tons.

Maleki said the NGL plant is expected to become operational in four years.
