Fajr Jam Sends Gas Condensate to Asia

TEHRAN Dec 19 (Shana)--Fajr Jam gas refinery is exporting 10 million barrels of gas condensate every year to Asian countries through Siraf Port, a deputy head of Siraf Port’s gas condensate exports terminal said.

Jamshid Khajehzadeh said the exports are made through two 56-kilometer pipelines.

He said that four storage facilities with a capacity of 40,000 mcm of gas condensate (equivalent to one million barrels) are located in Siraf Port.

Khajehzadeh said the vessels load gas condensate through single-point mooring (SPM) located several kilometers from the coast.

He said around 50 cargoes of gas condensate are loaded every year through SPM, adding that the main destinations are Japan, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.

He also said that the terminal is planned to be connected to the main phase of the offshore South Pars gas field.
