Masoud Meysami said the ethylene project is to become operational in one month.
He said Dehloran, Ilam, Ardebil and Tabriz are among new candidates to receive feedstock from this pipeline.
Meysami said National Petrochemical Company is making efforts to finance the unfinished sections of the pipeline.
The West Ethylene Pipeline, initiated in 2002, is to carry ethylene from Assaluyeh to petrochemical plants in Khuzestan, Lorestan, Chaharmahal Bakhtiari, Kohguiluyeh Boyer Ahmad, Kermanshah, Kurdestan and West Azarbaijan provinces.
More than 11 petrochemical plants are to be fed by West Ethylene Pipeline.
