Iran-Czech Trade at Low-Time Low

TEHRAN April 13(Shana)--The volume of trade exchanges between Iran and the Czech Republic has fallen to $40 million, the head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce has said.

“Relations between Iran and Czech are historical and the value of transactions between the two countries once reached $500 million,” Yahya Al Es’haq told a group of Czech businessmen.

He said that the two countries can now broaden their trade, adding that the two countries are mainly cooperating in infrastructure, oil, energy, crystal and textile.

Al Es’haq said Iran and Czech can cooperate in energy, water and wastewater treatment and road and railway transportation.
