Managing director of the plant, Naser Eslami, further noted the plant produced sulfur with 99.97 percent purity, adding China and India are the main destinations of the product.
Eslami said Hasheminejad gas refining plant produced 618, 450 tons of sulfur last year, of which 509 thousand tons were shipped to Bandar Abbas, south of Iran, for exports.
“The plant also offered 129 thousand tons of the product in domestic market which earned the plant 453.917 billion IR rials”, he said.
According to him, last year the plant was permitted to export 109 tons of gas liquids as well.
