Abdol-Hossein Samari said the refineries also processed 48 million barrels of gas condensate and 739 metric tons of LPG during the period.
South Pars, Khangiran and Ilam gas refineries treated 253,000 tons of sulfur and 398 metric tons of ethane during the period, he said.
During Farvardin, the first Iranian month, gas refineries set a record by processing 538 mcm of natural gas on a daily basis, said Samari.
Last year, Iranian refineries processed 168 bcm of natural gas, 25 mcm of gas condensate, a million tons of sulfur, 2 million mt of LPG and 1.5 million mt of ethane, he said.
