Italian Firms Keen on Joining Iran Energy Projects

TEHRAN, July 05 (Shana) -- Head of the Italy Desk of the 2016 World Conference of Mayors and Councilors says Italian companies are keen on investing in Iran's energy projects including renewables.

Farzan Azarpour, said attraction of foreign investments is a trending concern for all the countries including the developed and developing ones. 

He said once foreign companies join various projects in countries, technology transfer, employment, more exports, less imports, better services and raised quality of productions will ensue.

He said 16 Italian companies have so far indicated their readiness to attend the conference in Tehran.

ُSlated for July 19-20, the World Conference of Mayors and Councilors focuses on urban management, urban planning, tourism, crisis management and urban economics. 

The conference has the aims of urban development, awareness about the latest scientific achievements and researches, solving the problems of urban traffic and air pollution, increasing interactions between institutions and governmental organizations and universities for the efficient use of modern science in the field of urban management, urban planning and urban sustainable development. 

This conference along with educational workshops, professional panels and sessions in the areas of above mentioned subjects is going to be held at the same time in 12 secondary salons at Tehran Milad Tower International Conference Center.
