European Firms to Cooperate with NPC

TEHRAN, Oct 20 (Shana) – Denmark-based technology, catalyst and services supplier Haldor Topsoe (Topsoe) and Thyssen Krupp Engineering AG are ready to contribute to Iranian petrochemical projects.

Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Managing Director of National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NPC) Marzieh Shahdaie made the remark after separate meetings with senior directors of the two companies on the sidelines of the K-Plastics & Rubber Exhibition.

The trade fair K 2016 opens in Düsseldorf, Germany, from the 19 to 26 October and presents the innovations of the international plastics and rubber industry.

The Topsoe directors said they are interested in contribution to the NPC urea, ammonia and methanol projects.

Meanwhile, Thyssen Krupp Engineering AG directors said are ready to cooperate in PVC.

Shahdaie, Managing Director of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) Adel Nejad-Salim, Iranian Petrochemical Commercial Company (IPCC) Executive Director Mehdi Sharifi Niknafs, and Iran’s Ambassador to Germany Ali Majedi are to address the Düsseldorf expo. 

Senior directors of several big European Companies are also to dedicate their speech to Iran petrochemical industry.
