The MOGPC Managing Director Jahangiri Pourhang said his company has now the capacity to receive up to 8,500,000 cubic feet of associated gas in the gas and gas liquid plant no. 400 to collect and receive part of the extra flare gas, thus preventing burn of such amount of gas.
He said the gas was obtained in the gas separation process in early processes of gas processing in Asmari in the Koupal Exploitation Unit.
According to the MOGPC Public Relations Department, Pourhang said in the near future, the collected associated gas will be sent to the gas and gas liquid plant.
