Gas Exports to Turkey to Resume in 3 Days

TEHRAN, Oct 28 (Shana) – Turkish Butas company says Iranian gas exports to Turkey will resume in three days.

The gas exports had stopped as of Thursday night due to pipelines, carrying Iranian gas to Turkey that were blown up in Turkish territory by Turkish opposition.

Head of the Facilities for Measurement of Iranian Gas Exports to Turkey Sadegh Akbarpour told Shana that Turkish Butas Company had announced Thursday night that it cannot receive gas from Iran due to certain problems.

The Iranian official said the 8th district for gas transfer operations has announced readiness to remove the problems.

He added that Turkish Butas company has announced the problem will be removed in the next three days.

Akbarpour said Turkish Butas Company envoy is present in the Facilities for Measurement of Iranian Exported Gas in Bazargan Border and necessary coordination is underway.

The official said gas exports will resume when Turkey is ready to receive the fuel again.
