Standardization, Axis of Iran Development in Post-Sanctions Era: IRSQ CEO

TEHRAN, Oct 30 (Shana) – Head of the Iranian Society for Quality (IRSQ) Farzin Entesarian says the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has restored Iran's international interaction, adding standardization is the chief axis of development in the post-sanctions Iran.

Addressing the 5th International Conference on Quality Management on Sunday, Entesarian said the last edition of the conference was held 12 years ago.

He said the conference has been arranged with the partnership of several relevant organizations like the Iranian National Standards Organization and the Tehran Chamber of Commerce.

The scholar said Iran's economy is recuperating after the removal of sanctions and dealings with western countries are being normalized thanks to the JCPOA implementation.

"Restored interactions with the global economy required serious studies and developments on part of Iran and many mechanisms must be devised domestically in order to keep the country abreast with global trends," he added.
