Mir-Afzali made the remark in an address to a group of his staff, while announcing that negotiations had been held with Japanese and Italian investors for the purpose.
He said that unfortunately, under present conditions, global price for petrochemical products has lowered, creating many problems for petrochemical companies and absence of productivity will affect profits.
