Signals of OPEC-non-OPEC Cut Extension Positive: Iran

TEHRAN, Apr. 22 (Shana) -- Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said oil producing countries at the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC producers have sent out positive signals regarding extension of the OPEC-non-OPEC output cut plan.

Speaking on Saturday, the official said OPEC and non-OPEC oil suppliers have shown willingness to keep managing the oil market.

"We would second any decision made unanimously by OPEC members and have always supported it because improvement of market conditions would benefit oil producers and consumers," the official said.

Regarding talks with France's Total for developing oil projects in Iran, Zangeneh said, "Talks with Total never suspended and are still continuing and progressing."
