According to PIN, visiting SP gas field (Assaluyeh) and meeting with the main contractors and executive managers, Gholamhossein Nozari indicated SP development phase 9 and 10 will be launched this Oct. and it is scheduled to pump its gas into the country"s main grid on time.
"Right now, SP phases 9 and 10 are of vital importance for the country and it is necessary to do the work based on the scheduled time."
Considering this year"s drought and the hike in the world"s oil and gas prices, Nozari said, the phases should be launched as soon as possible.
He pointed out at present some 10000 work forces are working on phases 9 and 10 and at the time of final stage, the rate will reach 12000.
