Speaking to PIN, Golamreza Hassanbiegloo said: "In the first and second phases of early production of the field which has been assigned to NISOC, all duties and commitments have been carried out in a timely manner.
Hassanbiegloo continued: the present capacity of the oil field in is now at 37,000 barrels a day and the northern and southern clusters have become active while the oil pumping capacity of the clusters is suitable to the purpose.
The dynamic reserve information of the field has been extracted and will be used to speed up the production trend of the field and develop it. The information will also prevent extra expenditure for the project.
According to PIN, the minimum production of the site is 10,000 b/d which can increase to a maximum of 70,000 b/d. Part of the financial resources required for development of the project will be provided in the near future.
The Azadegan oil field is considered as one of the biggest discoveries of the past 30 years with a volume of 42 billion barrels. It is located 83 km south-west of Ahwaz and has an area of over 900 km.
