NIOPDC: Gasoline consumption up

Tehran- (Shana) Daily gasoline and gas oil consumption during the last week (26 Day to 2 Bahman/ 16 to 22 January) averaged 62/3 million liters and 103/6 million liters respectively.

The statistics published by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company(NIOPDC) shows, total gasoline consumption in the last week stood at 438/3 million liters up 6/3 million liters from a week earlier.

The Statistics show that the most amount of gasoline consumption in the last week was on Thursday (1 Bahman / 21 January) with 69/8 million liters and the minimum on Friday with 59/5 million liters.

The record daily gasoline consumption over the current year (started 21 March 2009) belongs to 12 Farvardin (1 April 2009) with 84/4 million liters.

Gas oil Data
Total gas oil consumption in the last week (26 Day to 2 Bahman/ 16 to 22 January) stood at 725/3 million liters down 70/5 million liters from a week earlier.

Average gas oil consumption in the week was 103/6 million liters a day.

The most amount of gas oil consumption in the last week was on Tuesday with 144/1 million liters and the minimum on Friday with 60/7 million liters.

Tehran consumed 87/8 million liters of gasoline during aforementioned week up 3/1 million liters from the week earlier.
Gasoline consumption in Tehran in the last week averaged 12 million and 542 thousand liters a day.
