Tehran (Shana) - Tehran province gas consumption increased by 11 percent in the final three days leading to Saturday morning (6 February) and stood at about 300 million cubic meters.

In an interview with Shana, head of the public relations department of the Tehran Province Gas Company Masoud Nori said: "from 6 AM o'clock on the Wednesday to 6 AM on the Saturday (today, 6 February) 296/5 cubic meters of natural gas was consumed in the province."

More than 4/5 million household habitants in Tehran province benefit from natural gas, that is the biggest branch in the country.

Tehran province absorbs more than 20 percent of the total Inan's gas consumption.
