In an interview with Shana, Javad Oji, NIGC managing director said total gas consumption (including in power plants, household, industrial and commercial sectors) on Saturday reached 530 million cubic meters, unparalleled in the past.
He said that the household gas consumption in the aforementioned day averaged 360 to 370 million cubic meters.
According to Oji, supplying different parts of the country with gas is underway as normal. He also said that observing the consumption pattern and optimum use of gas in the household sector enables NIGC to provide all the subscribers with better services.
Prior to 6 February, gas consumption in the country had reached to the highest level on 8th Bahman (28th January 2010) with 519 million cubic meters of gas consumption.
