Gasoline consumption hits its lowest level in Ramadan

TEHRAN 22 Aug (Shana): Iran’s gasoline consumption hit its lowest level this Iranian calendar year, 1389, (started on 21 March 2010) during the first week of holy month of Ramadan.

Total gasoline consumption during the week ending 20 August stood at 391.3 million liters down 53.9 million liters (12.1 percent) when compared with a week earlier, National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) statistics show.

Total gasoline consumption in Tehran amounted to 89.2 million liters down 1.9 million liter in comparison with a week earlier.

Meanwhile gas oil consumption in the week ending 20 August stood at 699.8 million liters up 10.2 million liters in comparison with the a week earlier.
