The statistics published by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) show that average gasoline and gas oil consumption during the third week of the holy month of Ramadan has been reduced by about 5 percent and 2.5 percent respectively.
Average daily gasoline consumption during the week ending 3 September reached to 56.5 million liters down 2.928 ml/d in comparison with a week earlier.
Total gas oil consumption during the mentioned week stood at 635.7 million liters down 16.8 million liters in comparison with a week earlier.
Average Iran’s daily gas oil consumption amounted to 90.814 million liters.
Also Tehran residents’ gasoline consumption during the week ending on 3 September fell to 86.9 million liters.
Total gasoline consumption by Tehran population stood at 90.8 million liters a week earlier indicating 4 million liters reduction during the third week of the holy month of Ramadan.
Average daily gasoline consumption in the week ending on 3 September stood at 12.414 million liters.
Total gas oil consumption in Tehran was 38.9 million liters with average consumption of 5.557 million liters a day.
Total super gasoline consumption during the week ending on 3 September stood at 16.1 million liters down a week earlier by 1.1 million liters. Average daily consumption of the product was 2.3 ml/d.
