Sumar Field Up for Investment
TEHRAN, (Shana) -- Sumar oil field, which was discovered in 2009 in the western province of Kermanshah, is jointly owned by Iran and Iraq. Sumar holds 475 million barrels of crude oil in place, 70 million barrels of which is recoverable. Iran plans to develop this field based on the new model of oil contracts: the IPC.
