Iran, Belarus to Cooperate more on Energy

TEHRAN (PIN) – Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company said that NIOC Belarusian state-run oil company, Belarusneft signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate more on related fields.

Seifollah Jashnsaz also told PIN, Belarusneft has a 50-percent share on development of Jofeir oilfield adding that we held talks on more investment by the company on the project.

On the development of Fahilan formation in Khuzestan’s Jofeir oilfield, he added the company was determined to make research on the formation and then would provide us with its proposal.

“In case of suitable, the company will be in charge of the development of Fahilan formation,” Jashnsaz said.

TTNEFT in Charge of Ahwaz-Bankestan Seismology

Jashnsaz Also said that we also held talks with Russian Tatneft to develop Ahwaz-Bankestan oilfield and it is expected the seismologic operation of the field to be implemented by Tatneft.
