TEHRAN January 31 (Shana): The Petrochemical Commercial Company (PCC) a subsidiary of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) reported of exporting petrochemical products worth 7.6 billion dollars during the first ten months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21 2010).

Published statistics by PCC show that liquefied gases (propane and butane) ranked the first in terms of weight with 1.940 million tons.

Methanol and heavy cuts were the second and third main items in terms of weight with 1.6728 million tons and 1.644 million tons respectively.

The company has exported 11.8 million tons of different petrochemical exports in the form of 3.338 shimpments to different countries from Far East to Europe.

Petrochemical Commercial Co. (PCC), established in 1990, is one of the largest business corporations in the Middle-East involved in marketing and sales of petrochemical products in the international markets as well as supplying Iran’s petrochemical downstream industries. Since 2010 , in line with the goals of Article 44 of Iran Constitutional Law and by the transfer of more than 52 percent of PCC‘s share to Iran Investment Company (IIC) as a private party and also a business partner of NPC, Petrochemical Commercial Co. has been continuing its brilliant activities.
