TEHRAN January 08 (Shana): various oil products Consumption fell during the week ending on 6th January except fuel oil that its consumption rose hugely.

Statistics realized by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIODC) show that daily gasoline consumption stood at 55.1 million liters per day during the week ending on January 06 that is a record low since the beginning of autumn.

Iranian motorists consumed 385.9 million liters of gasoline during the week down by 8.7 million liters (2.2 percent) against a week earlier.

Gasoil consumption also fell even though just a little bit. During the mentioned week gasoil consumption averaged 115.3 million liters, or 807.3 million liters in total, indicating 1.4 million liters or 0.2 percent lower in comparison to a week earlier.

Kerosene consumption also edged down by 15.3 million liters, falling from 164.6 million liters to 149.3 million liters indicating 9.2 percent lower.  

Super gasoline consumption also fell by 7.3 percent week on week hitting 16.4 million liters. Despite this, fuel oil consumption stood at 409.7 million liters up by 183.4 million liters, or 81 percent, in comparison to the previous week.
