Statistics published by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) show that Iranian motorists consumed 420.7 million liters of gasoline during the week ending on 11 February up by 28.8 million liters or 7.3 percent against a week earlier.
Gasoil consumption also went up reaching 845.3 million liters up by 134.8 million liters or 18.9 percent week on week.
Fuel oil and kerosene consumption increased as well reaching 383.7 million liters and 146.5 million liters during the mentioned week respectively up by 25.1 (6.9 percent) and 700 thousand liters (0.4 percent) week on week.
Capital residents’ gasoline consumption went up by 5.5 million liters during the period reaching 92 million liters.
