The contract covers drilling  22 oil wells as well as engineering designing, procurement, laying oil transfer pipelines, setting up wellhead installations, pump installations and treatment units, building desalination and exploitation units, a liquefied gas unit, gas sweetening plant, associated gas gathering facilities and boosting gas pressure stations, utilities and oil and gas pipelines.

During the signing ceremony which was held in the presence of managing directors of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) as well as National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) and a number of NISOC managers, the cost of the project announced at 345 million Euros plus 6.3 billion rials which will be provided by Persia Oil and Gas Company in the form of finance.

Mansouri oil field is located 70 kilometers south of Ahwaz and its second phase will be implemented in two steps, in the first step during in a 20 month period, oil production will hit 20 thousand barrels per day while in the second step in a 60 month period oil production will reach 75 thousand barrels per day.
