“With the operation of new refineries, the complex’s share in the country’s gas production will reach 70 percent,” Masoud Hassani said.

He added that SPGC enjoys a special position in the country’s energy mix.

Hassai said SPGC is a strategy-based company which has 10,000 employees, adding that new refineries will help employ 14,000 more.
