TEHRAN April 15 (Shana)--Managing-Director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Abbas Sheri-Moqaddam has said four new petrochemical hubs are to be constructed in Iran as part of NPC’s plans to develop petrochemical industry.

He said the hubs are to be built in the second phase of Assaluyeh, in Parsian zone, and in the ports of Chabahar and Jask.

“Launching these new hubs will largely contribute to the realization of objectives of the petrochemical industry,” Sheri-Moqaddam said.

He said petrochemical plants in Assaluyeh are under way while petrochemical projects are to start in Jask.
