The event will be organized in collaboration with the Iran Gas Institute, the Iranian Society of Petroleum Geology, the Iranian Society of Petroleum Engineering, and the Iranian Society for Surveying and Geomatics Engineering, according to the OnePakistan website.
 
By offering high level presentations, up-to-date case studies, interactive panel discussions and exclusive workshops, the three-day summit will provide a unique ground for the international firms to establish contacts and build relationships in Iran.  
 
It also provides a platform for the international companies to access the opportunities that post sanctions Iranian oil and gas sector holds for them.
 
Iran is estimated to hold 33.7 trillion cubic meters of natural gas and 157 billion barrels of recoverable crude oil reserves.
 
According to estimates by BP, Iran sits on the world’s largest gas reserves.
