No Substandard Fuel Imported

TEHRAN July 3 (Shana)--Iran has imported no substandard gasoline, director for international affairs of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said.

Mohsen Qamsari said the gasoline imported into the country has the endorsement of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC).
He said all vessels carrying fuel into Iran are examined by independent experts, adding that the quality of imported fuel is even higher than standard levels.
Qamari said Iran cannot directly purchase gasoline from foreign refiners due to international sanctions.
He said Iran is importing fuel through intermediaries.
