Mehdi Ahmadi said three companies producing pumps and two companies manufacturing mechanical seals have been awarded.
He said Pompiran and Petco were selected from among 15 pump manufacturers. Turboseal, Pars Sealing Systems Company and Pilari Gostar Industrial Company were picked from among eight producers of mechanical seals.
Ahmadi said Petroleum Ministry attaches importance to the quality of commodities and equipment manufactured by Iranian companies.
He said that the non-compliance of equipment with standards would inflict irreparable damage on Iran’s economy.
Ahmadi said Petroleum Ministry is drawing up an integrated system for quality certificate in order to offer technical consultation and help boost the quality of domestically manufactured equipment.
