Ahvaz to Distribute Euro-4 Gasoline Soon

TEHRAN July 12 (Shana)--Necessary preparations have been made for distribution of euro-4 gasoline in the southern city of Ahvaz.

Director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) in Ahvaz city, Abdolsaheb Shamkhani made the remarks adding NIOPDC has made necessary preparations for storing and distributing euro-4 gasoline across the city.
By launching the new gasoline-making unit of Abadan oil refinery in the near future, it will supply enough eruo-4 gasoline for distribution not only in Ahvaz but in Abadan as well.    
Earlier managing director of NIOPDC Abbas Kazemi told Shana that the volume of euro-4 gasoline consumption all over the country stands at 28 million litres including those either imported or produced by domestic oil refineries.  
He continued: "Imam Khomeini (Shazand) and Tabriz oil refineries produce respectively 16 and 2 million liters of euro-4 gasoline per day while eruo-4 gasoline imports stand at 10 million liters on a daily basis."   
Kazemi added euro-4 gasoline is now being distributed in Tehran, Karaj, Arak and Tabriz cities while its distribution will start in other cities including Ahvaz, Abadan, Shiraz and Mashhad in near future.
