Masoud Nili said Iran’s economy plunged into recession due to problems in the oil and gas sectors, adding that Iran can get out of recession by developing oil and gas industries.
He said a package recently adopted by Rouhani’s administration for economic recovery focuses on the oil sector.
“The package is expected to remove hurdles and challenges in the production sector and spur production,” said Nili.
