Liquid Fuel Consumption Up

TEHRAN August 18 (Shana)--Iran's liquid fuel consumption rose by 46 million liters during the week leading to August 15 against a week earlier, surpassing one billion liters in total.

According to Shana, liquid fuel consumption by different sectors including power plants hit 1.21 billion liters over the aforementioned week.
During the week, power plants and other sectors consumed 762.2 million liters of gasoil and 258.9 million liters of fuel oil.
 Meanwhile, the average daily gasoline and fuel oil consumption stood at 108.8 and 36.98 million liters respectively.
The total gasoil and fuel oil consumption in comparison to a week earlier rose by 41.5 and 4.9 million liters respectively.
