NIOC Could Reverse Downward Oil Sell

TEHRAN August 30 (Shana)--NIOC has managed to prevent oil sale reduction by 20 percent over the last year and mitigate concerns by Iran’s buyers in the oil market.

Director of international affairs at NIOC Mohsen Qamsari made the remarks in an interview with Shana, adding that during last year some political wings of the country have tried to politicize oil issue, “but we look at oil as a technical issue and will not allow political issues to influence oil managers’ performance”.
“We are tasked with meeting the country’s needs”, the NIOC official noted.
Replying a question on meeting gasoline needs, Qamsari said: "We buy gasoline from those companies working in Asia market."
On unpaid Shell and Greece’s 4 billion dollars debts to NIOC, Qamsari said no new changes have been made in this regard.
