PCC announced that it exported as much as 459 tons of various kinds of liquid gas including propane and butane.
Para xylene, styrene, sodium hydroxide, heavy polyethylene, film heavy polyethylene, benzene, resins were the other main petrochemical products PCC exported.
It is believed that if gas production from South Pars gas field phases 15&16 and 17&18 are to be started this year, Iran’s production capacity of petrochemicals will go up by one million tons which in turn will raise petrochemical sector’s revenues by another 2 billion dollars.
