Director of engineering and implementation of projects at Esfahan oil refinery Elyas Toghyani told Shana that daily gasoline production at the refinery has hit 11.5 million liters since last year when the refinery’s gasoline making unit came online.
He added the development plan of the refinery will make imports of 2.3 million liters of premium gasoline a day unnecessary.
According to Toghyani, the upgrading plan of the refinery seeks to reduce the volume of fuel oil production and at the same boost the quality of valuable oil products compatible with the highest global standards while taking into account environmental concerns.
Esfahan oil refinery will achieve its targets by setting up new processing units, he further said.
