“At a time the sanctions are in force [against Iran], our great nation has managed to take distance from stagflation and take the preliminary steps for economic prosperity,” the president said.
Rouhani said recently that Iran’s economy has got out of stagnation based on economic indicators in the current calendar year which started in March.
The president said Iran’s inflation is to fall below 20 percent by next March, adding: “We will see significant developments in terms of energy, oil and gas, and in the oil sector, we will probably experience a near 8-percent growth.”
Rouhani also said that his administration has served the environment by distributing euro-4 gasoline in big cities.
