Non-Oil Exports Cross $14b

TEHRAN Sept 23 (Shana)--Iran earned more than $14 billion from exporting non-oil products and techno-engineering services during the first five months of the current calendar year which started on March 21, Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade said.

It said the non-oil exports earned Iran $14.36 billion, up 4% year-on-year, adding that the exported products weighed nearly 32 million tons.
The main exported items were liquefied propane ($908mbillion), methanol ($717 million), liquefied butane ($662 million), bitumen ($520 million) and film-grade polyethylene ($512 million).
The main destinations were China ($3.842 billion), Iraq ($2.212 billion), United Arab Emirates ($1.504 billion), Afghanistan ($1.078 billion) and India ($884 million).
