Zanganeh voiced his ministry’s backing during a joint meeting with Minister of Road and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi.
The petroleum minister said Petroleum Ministry will pay for Ministry of Road and Urban Development’s projects from revenues obtained from lowering fuel consumption.
Zangeneh said Petroleum Ministry also welcomes the construction of compressed natural gas (CNG) stations.
He said development of CNG system will cut gasoil and gasoline consumption and will also bring revenues for the country.
