Speaking on the sidelines of the 9th Iran Plast exhibition here in Tehran, Ritesh Shah, senior manager of the K AND D Communication Ltd., underlined Iran's vast potentials in the polymer and plastics industries, and said effective marketing and promotional activities are needed to add to the showcase's recognition among petrochemical companies outside of Iran.
Ritesh Shah said he was astounded to see such a large number of Iranian and foreign exhibitors present their items at the showcase.
"I believe there is a great market for plastic and packing industries in Iran," he said.
He further called on organizers of Iran Plast to arrange more expert sessions and conferences with focus on petrochemical industry as measures prior to the exhibit.
Indian Plast and Plastivision India are New Delhi's two major petchem exhibitions where no Iranian exhibitors have shown up so far, said the Indian industrialist.
