TEHRAN Sept 30 (Shana)--Completion of gas supply projects in Sistan-o-Balouchestan province as well as projects in other cities and rural areas of the country will boost the government’s revenues by more than 34.7 billion dollars over a 10 year period.

Head of board of directors of Iran’s Fuel Conservation Company (IFCO) Mohammad Mehdi Rahmati made above remarks estimating total cost for completion of gas supply projects of the country will hit 7.5 billion dollars.
According to Rahmati, laying out 890 kilometers of gas pipeline with 56 and 16 inches in diameter in Sistan-o-Balouchestan province will enable providing gas to 300 thousand households in cities and rural areas of the province as well as its five thermal power plants.
“Completion of gas supply projects in the province will pave the way for replacing more than 2 billion liters of oil products by natural gas which in turn will be followed by reducing the release of greenhouse gases by 100 thousand tons per year”, IFCO official said.
