Ebrahim Piramon said that technical examination and comparison of estimates with actual performance showed that the company has managed to realize its oil and gas production targets by 106 percent.
He said launching new desaltation units in the area covered by the company will have a considerable impact on boosting production capacity of the company.
As one of five subsidiaries of the National Iranian South Oilfields Company (NISOC), Masjed Soleyman Oil and Gas Production Company operations cover a 27-thousand-kilometer area in north of Khuzestan province.
The company is the oldest oil and gas production company in the Middle East. The first oil well in the region was discovered in 1908 in Masjed Soleyman, south of Iran.
