SPGC Earns Iran $1.1b

TEHRAN Oct 31 (Shana)--South Pars Gas Complex (SPGC) generated $1.092 billion in revenues in the first half of the current calendar year which started on March 21, SPGC managing-director said.

Masoud Hassani said the revenues were achieved from sulfur and gas condensate sales.
 
He said that gas condensate production by SPGC in the first half of the year was up 12% higher than a year ago, adding that sulfur production was up 6%.
 
Hassani said SPGC plans to become the largest refining company in the Middle East by 2015.
 
SPGC currently supplies 45% of Iran’s gas needs. This share is expected to reach 70% in three years.
