Iran, Norway to Cooperate on Propylene

TEHRAN Nov 17 (Shana)--Iran’s Petrochemical Research and Technology Company (PRTC) is in talks with a leading Norwegian company for research cooperation on propylene, PRTC manager said.

Esmaeil Qanbari said the two sides have so far reached agreement on the technical aspects of a future agreement.

He said that the agreement is expected to be signed once legal financial problems have been resolved.

“Given the overture of international atmosphere and this company’s capabilities, we are looking for joint research and technology activities with domestic and foreign knowledge-based and research centers,” he said.

He added that PRTC needs to interact with leading international companies in order to acquire technical savvy.
