IRENEX Likely to Trade Oil

TEHRAN Nov 17 (Shana)--Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) is likely to trade 100,000 barrels of crude if a consensus is reached on the price, a senior official said.

Director for international affairs of National Iranian Oil Company, Mohsen Qamsari, said the price is being discussed during meetings between NIOC and IRENEX.

He said that the oil price is set by NIOC, adding that the 100,000 barrels are planned to be traded in less than two weeks.

Qamsari said the price announced on IRENEX would be calculated based on the price Iran charges its international buyers.
